Commercial Section, Royal Thai Consulate-General, Chengdu
Thai DEP set up the Commercial Section, Royal Thai Consulate-General， in Chengdu City of Sichuan Province in May, 2007. Sichuan is the key strategic area of West Development, rich in water and mineral resources with high-tech industries and personnel. This section has held a series of activities to introduce and promote Thai commercial goods and has organized large numbers of corresponding activities between Thai enterprises and China’s western enterprises and exchanging activities among colleges. Commercial Section, Royal Thai Consulate-General, Chengdu once organized many times exhibitions in China’s western districts, and allowed China’s enterprises and relative departments to go to Thailand for all types of international exhibitions.
Commercial Section, Royal Thai Consulate-General, Chengdu played fully its role as a bridge in economy and trade exchange, greatly accelerating commercial and trade exchange between Thailand and China’ western districts.
